This was something of a get-out-of-writer’s-block-somehow part. It’s kind of silly but I shoved a lot of useful information in it, so now I’m stuck with it.

Smeared Black Ink 
An additional scene between this chapter and the last might help the pacing. The last chapter ended with the fight with Harper, and this one starts with recounting the fight with Hussein, and at first I thought the wrong name was used and it took me a minute to realize it was a different fight. As soon as Bryan wakes up through the end, the pacing is fantastic. I’m really loving this story. It’s my new best excuse to not do other work I should be doing.
